Continuing Education News for 2024
Year 3 of 5 year Diploma Program and multi year Mentorship with Dr. Chris Campbell D.O., at The Littlejohn Centre/ Littlejohn College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dublin, Ireland.
My ongoing quest for knowledge and perfection of technique in Classical Osteopathy continues. The Osteopathy of Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, not the watered down, so called modernized Osteopathy taught in most schools today which, is completely unrecognizable from the beautiful healing gift left to us by Dr. Still.
Dr. John Martin Littlejohn was a student of Dr Andrew Taylor Still, the founder of Osteopathy. After he graduated, he worked and taught with Dr. Still for many years before opening the Chicago School of Osteopathy and then, later returning to the UK to open the UK’s first school of Osteopathy; The British School of Osteopathy; now University College London, London UK
JM Littlejohn is acknowledged as being the man who brought Physiology or, the” Applied Anatomy of the Living Body” to Osteopathy.
Dr. Chris Campbell was a student of Dr. John Wernham who was a life long friend and, student of Dr. Littlejohn.
Dr. Wernham spent the greater part of his career working with Dr. Littlejohn. He spent his entire career, right up until 2 weeks before his death and 100th birthday, passing on the wealth of knowledge and skill he had learned from Dr. Littlejohn.
Chris Campbell spent 30+years of his career working with John Wernham and researching the life and teachings of Littlejohn. He has written several books on the subject and, is at present considered the world’s leading authority on Dr. John Martin Littlejohn.
I feel blessed to have the opportunity to learn from Chris in my ongoing quest to perfect my skills and increase my knowledge of Classical Osteopathy so that I may best serve my patients.
